EAME is a multi-disciplinary, environmental consulting practice that specialises in providing technical expertise and innovative solutions to complex and challenging environmental problems and is especially focussed on countries with legacy environmental issues. EAME is particularly experienced in dealing with large scale multi-faceted strategically important projects and infrastructure developments.

The team was founded in the UK in the 1990s where EAME was at the forefront of the UK drive to resolve the significant environmental issues relating to the UK’s long industrial history such as contaminated land, waste management and resource efficiency. Furthermore, EAME has also been heavily involved with projects resulting from the imposition of EU legislation into UK law such as environmental permitting and Environmental Impact Assessment.

Furthermore, EAME has worked on thousands of challenging projects in over 35 countries, latterly focussing extensively on Iraq and Guyana, both of which have significant long-term environmental legacy issues. EAME has been providing consulting services relating to these issues to international funding institutions, oil companies, engineering firms, EPC contractors and private developers across a wide range of technical disciplines and sectors.

Romania is in a similar situation to the UK, in that its industrial heritage has resulted in the legacy environmental issues and that Romania’s recent accession to the EU has resulted in new environmental legislation being written in Romania law. As such, EAME is well placed to use our hard-won knowledge and experience to provide pragmatic solutions to legacy problems and to ensure that Romanian businesses adhere to EU environmental legislation.
